Yesterday, we told you about ChiCom government propagandist Lijian Zhao tweeting out a doctored photo purportedly depicting an Australian soldier killing an Afghan child.
Here it is again, since it’s still up:
Shocked by murder of Afghan civilians & prisoners by Australian soldiers. We strongly condemn such acts, &call for holding them accountable. pic.twitter.com/GYOaucoL5D

For some crazy reason that none of us can fathom, Twitter’s Misinformation Cops don’t seem all that concerned about it.
It appears @Twitter is going to let this slide. https://t.co/NEjSvzKsQU

But Sen. Marco Rubio is concerned. And he has some questions for Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey:
Breaking: In a letter sent earlier today, Senator @MarcoRubio confronts Twitter CEO @Jack Dorsey questioning him on the lack of enforcement of Twitter rules when the Communist regime in China uses the platform to spread misinformation and propaganda. pic.twitter.com/ZK2RfbVE5Q

We feel like we already know the answer to at least some of those questions already:
Good for Sen. Rubio. Once again Twitter is allowing harmful lies to be spread from oppressive regimes to go unchecked while cracking down on domestic speech. The difference? Twitter knows if it cracks down on China, it will lose a significant audience it needs for revenue. https://t.co/6gjDlXsDx6

But some think Rubio needs to more forcefully put his money where his mouth is:
That's all well and good but actions speak louder than words #revise230

Do something Marco. Propose legislation. Questioning them does nothing. So tired of do nothing Republicans. No wonder the Democrats run over you.

For now it’s a letter. Stay tuned and see if it turns into something else.
