Lincoln Project luminary and MSNBC analyst Steve Schmidt says an acquitted Donald Trump will have more power than any POTUS in history [video]

MSNBC political analyst and Lincoln Project adviser Steve Schmidt isn’t sounding too optimistic about Donald Trump’s conviction — and he’s very worried about what will happen if Trump is acquitted:

MSNBC’s @SteveSchmidtSES: “There will never, ever have been an American president with the power that Donald Trump possesses right now in this moment. Not FDR in the second World War. Not Lincoln in the Civil War." pic.twitter.com/kTsoYV7ext

But will Donald Trump sell Alaska to Russia???

This guy gets paid for his commentary and “analysis.” Let that sink in.

Huh?

No serious person believes this. https://t.co/akqb6YYRbf

Call us when Donald Trump starts rounding up American citizens and throwing them into internment camps, Steve.

Lol Lincoln suspended habeus corpus ffs. ????

Really? I'd put any U.S. President with a party majority in both the House and Senate, to include POTUS 2017-2019, ahead of a President with a split Congress. https://t.co/YBXLCRCr6M

LOLOL. FDR had huge majorities in both Houses of Congress *and* had appointed the entire Supreme Court. @SteveSchmidtSES doesn't even name a single thing Trump can order or enact. https://t.co/fBn0NMBWen

And guys like Steve Schmidt say Trump is delusional.

Lincoln suspended habeus corpus and FDR sent Japanese Americans to internment camps, but the lib moron brigades have their talking points about Trump and they are sticking to them https://t.co/rR1nzWEZCq

Donald Trump does not have the power to make you stupid. That's your choice.
