Yesterday’s deadly shooting in Jersey City was just the latest in a series of left-wing anti-Semitic attacks. In the wake of such violence, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that the NYPD has recently formed a special new unit to investigate extremism and terror threats, though possibly with a focus only on “far-Right and neo-Nazi organizations.” De Blasio has a tendency to overlook left-wing anti-Semitism and blame “white supremacy” for the vicious attacks regularly being perpetrated in his city.
We’re guessing Bernie Sanders didn’t have left-wing anti-Semitism in mind, either, when he tweeted this:

I am deeply concerned about reports that the terrible shooting at a kosher supermarket in New Jersey was motivated by hatred of the Jewish people.
