'I am that someone': Parkland father Ryan Petty puts Vox's Aaron Rupar in his place over 'arcane gun terminology'

As Twitchy told you earlier, Vox troll Aaron Rupar was triggered by James Gagliano pointing out that the “AR” in “AR-15” does not, in fact, stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.” Because apparently facts just aren’t that important to some Real Journalists.

Well, for what it’s worth, Ryan Petty understands what it’s like to have a loved one gunned down by an AR-15, or rather by someone using an AR-15. Petty’s daughter Alaina was among those killed in the Parkland shooting last year. And unlike Aaron, he understands the importance of accuracy in gun reporting:
