'Hot take': Twitter takes a turn trivializing AOC's trivializing of the Holocaust [screenshots]

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “concentration camps” remarks have really kicked off an important conversation about the Holocaust. It’s been trending on Twitter all day:

Notice anything?

"Semantics." Hot take, @Twitter pic.twitter.com/5HRDLUuqpR

So very hot. Good thing Twitter doesn’t choose sides, huh?

Semantics is correctly used when it's a mere difference in word-usage, but essentially you're saying the same thing.

In this case, two parties are saying two completely different things.

This isn't a case where semantics is the issue.

This crap goes way beyond “semantics.”

There are no "semantics" when discussing anything related to the Holocaust

Also, there would be no discussion of "semantics" if a Republican said this pic.twitter.com/AywLl9bvo3

Can't have twitter ban itself by suggesting the right wing is actually correct
