CNN is Real News, Mr. President. They just like fake town halls:

More from Mediaite:
CNN failed to disclose the political connections of audience members who questioned 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during his town hall on the network [on February 25], per a report from Paste Magazine.
The leftist outlet found that CNN described Baltimore County Democratic Party Chair Tara Ebersole as a “former biology professor,” Charles County Democratic Central Committee Chair Abena McAllister as “an active Democrat,” a Public Policy intern at DC Cassidy and Associates — a large lobbying firm — as an “American University student,” and an intern at the Katz Watson Group fundraising and consulting firm as a “George Washington student.”
And from the New York Post:
Yunjung Seo was introduced as a college student, but neither host Wolf Blitzer nor the on-screen chyron mentioned that she is an intern at Democratic fundraising outfit the Katz Watson Group, according to her LinkedIn page.
And Shadi Nasab was also presented as a college student, even though her LinkedIn page says she is an intern at DC lobbying firm Cassidy and Associates.

Seems like information they should’ve disclosed, right?
A CNN spokesperson responded to Mediaite with a statement: “Though we said at the beginning of the Town Hall that the audience was made up of Democrats and Independents, we should have more fully identified any political affiliations.”
Does this surprise anyone

That is shocking! Said no one ever.

Well, the important thing is that they’ve learned their lesson. For real, this time!
At least this is the only time CNN has run a biased town hall where they didn't disclose information important to viewers. https://t.co/YtQR93zU9M

"Failed" to disclose. How many years have they been passing off partisan operatives as random people in these scripted town halls? How many times have they been caught? Too many times to count, it's a predictable feature at CNN, not a bug.

That's one heck of a news organization they have there. How'd they not know we knew this already. They did it to everyone. "CNN, for all of your insulated bubble needs".

A quick exit question before we go:
Will this be in your media newsletter @brianstelter? Seems newsy and about the media.
