When Donald Trump informed Nancy Pelosi in a letter yesterday that her planned CODEL “trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed,” he told her that she should still feel free to “fly commercial.”
Well, wouldn’t you know it? According to her deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill, Pelosi had every intention of flying commercial — and she would have, too, if it hadn’t been for that meddling Trump administration!
After President Trump revoked the use of military aircraft to travel to Afghanistan, the delegation was prepared to fly commercially to proceed with this vital trip to meet with our commanders and troops on the front lines.
