Man, that Trump-Pelosi-Schumer meeting was really something, wasn’t it? Border wall debates are pretty much guaranteed to turn heated quickly, and Donald Trump taking responsibility for the potential government shutdown if Democrats refuse to fund the border wall really turned things up.

But hindsight’s 20/20, and after the spectacle ended, Erick Erickson realized that Trump could’ve gotten what he wanted without involving the Democrats at all.
