Oh man … if Elizabeth Warren was looking for a Band-Aid for her bruised ego after that New York Times article on her advisers criticizing her, she won’t find it in the Boston Globe:
Yeeks: The Boston Globe Ed Board, which called on Elizabeth Warren to run for president in 2016, suggests she pass this time.
"She has become a divisive figure. A unifying voice is what the country needs now after the polarizing politics of Trump." https://t.co/NwkSaAIBkG

Welp.
A harsh assessment of @SenWarren by the editorial board of her hometown paper, The Boston Globe. https://t.co/oCRpWv70vj pic.twitter.com/vXz6TKFu3n

That’s pretty harsh, yeah. Not harsh enough for us to feel sorry for her, but harsh nonetheless.

Boston Globe takes back endorsement it gave to Warren. [drums fingers on desk] https://t.co/2QSVv6gion

OMG.
Been a very rough month for Elizabeth Warren. https://t.co/JoqHad7Zbc

Couldn’t be happening to a nicer gal, honestly.
No matter the argument here, it's striking that a paper whose journalism has flourished when MA candidates have run for prez (Kerry in '04, Romney in '08 and '12) is imploring one its own *not* to run.

E. Warren : 2016 :: Chris Christie : 2012. Discuss. https://t.co/wXeWwWkyfO

Fair point, though:
I'm not a Warren fan, but find one candidate who won't become a "divisive" figure from the moment they announce — particularly in the current environment. https://t.co/6p9sMZbpl8

That… is true.
