'EXCELLENT'! TPUSA's U. of Iowa chapter gets 'MAJOR RESPECT' for statement on Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens; UPDATED

As Twitchy told you, earlier this week, Turning Point USA’s comms director Candace Owens royally stepped in it — again — when she shamed a supposed relative of Mollie Tibbetts who asked her to stop politicizing Tibbetts’ death. Because of course she did.

Well anyway, it turns out that there was more asshattery where that came from. According to TPUSA’s University of Iowa chapter, TPUSA president Charlie Kirk and Owens wanted to try to host an immigration event at the university in response to Mollie Tibbetts’ murder. Just the sort of thing that would be right up Kirk and Owens’ sleazy alley. Thankfully, Kirk and Owens will have to find somewhere else to peddle their slime, because University of Iowa TPUSA is rejecting their request:

So, TPUSA had plans to come to University of Iowa, but not via the college’s chapter? In any event, UI TPUSA made the right call in distancing themselves from Kirk and Owens. Mollie Tibbetts’ memory deserves better.
