If you don’t want to click on it — and we wouldn’t blame you one bit — here’s the gist of Mainwaring’s argument: Fox News is too gay. The network’s lineup of hosts and pundits is either too gay or too gay-friendly. Congratulating Guy Benson on his upcoming nuptials? That’s just beyond the pale! Letting Tammy Bruce fill in for Tucker Carlson? Well, it just doesn’t get any worse than that.
If there’s one silver lining in Mainwaring’s screed, it’s that he’s successfully broadcast the fact that he should never be taken seriously. Not as a conservative, and not as a human being.
