If Joyce Carol Oates is gonna put herself out there and defend the Broward County Sheriff’s deputy who waited outside while Nikolas Cruz went on a murderous rampage and actual heroes sacrificed their lives to save Douglas High School students, she’d at least better make sure her gun control talking points are solid.
