THANK YOU! Jake Tapper SLAPS DOWN Katy Tur and Michael Wolff's appalling take on truth; Update: Tapper was just getting started! [video]

As Twitchy told you, MSNBC’s Katy Tur indulged a mind-blowingly awful take from “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff. According to Wolff, blatant factual errors are OK because “if it rings true, it is true.” Tur couldn’t help but agree.

Michael Wolff to Katy Tur on his book, "Fire and Fury": "If it rings true, it is true."

That may pass for integrity for most of the media these days, but there are still a few journalists left who know better. Jake Tapper is one of them:

Not a journalistic principle or even, really, a factual statement. https://t.co/NY2Ft67FhS

Bam. Take note, Katy Tur et al. Because whatever you’re practicing, it sure as hell isn’t journalism.

FEELZ, Jake. It's all about them FEELZ. https://t.co/fGG6sT7mSV

There you are concerning yourself with those pesky facts again, Jake! Facts are so passé.

Mr. Tapper, I admire how you're committed to journalistic principles. Please continue.
