Hollywood’s sexual predator problem clearly isn’t going away anytime soon, so it’s gonna take something big to prove that they’re still committed to the cause of feminism.
Well, Forbes knows exactly how they can do that. And his name is Seth Meyers:
The Golden Globes need a feminist host this year, and Seth Meyers is the right man for the job https://t.co/DR71adAlMj pic.twitter.com/wYcVJMAKQj

Forbes contributor Carey Purcell writes:
Following the exposure of Harvey Weinstein’s chronic harassment, as well as accusations made about John Lasseter, Andrew Kreisberg, Jeffrey Tambor and Brett Ratner, among others, the 2018 Golden Globes will no doubt be politically charged. A host with a proven track record of providing sensitive commentary on current events and gender-related issues is absolutely necessary, and in his three years in the late-night arena, Meyers has quietly proven himself to be just that. After 13 years on Saturday Night Live, he sat down behind the late-night desk, where he has risen to critical acclaim for his measured, meticulous commentary – especially thanks to his politically-charged “Closer Look” segments, which average 2 million viewers per segment and consistently go viral.

Meyers’ devotion to feminism has paid off. When he began discussing Trump in his monologues, his ratings went up 6%. As of August 18, 2017, the show was No. 1 in the 12:35 AM time slot, averaging a 0.35 and 1.35 million viewers per episode. Late Night With Seth Meyers topped its CBS competition, Late Late Show with James Corden, which garnered a 0.24 and 1.21 million viewers.

Part of me want to congratulate you on the subtle mockery of men who call themselves "feminists" but the rest of me thinks you're serious. https://t.co/7LnxKEuuxh

Nothing says feminism like needing a man to step in and do the job for women. https://t.co/jxMF0OgMYU
