THIS is pro-woman? Handmaid's Tale's Elisabeth Moss signs onto 'abortion drama'

Following her big Emmy win for “The Handmaid’s Tale” comes the news that actress Elisabeth Moss will star in an “abortion drama”:

Three cheers for The Sisterhood!

Call Jane focuses on the true story set in 1960s Chicago of an underground network of suburban women who secretly provide safe abortions for women in need pre-Roe v. Wade.

Moss will play Jane, a married woman who is unexpectedly pregnant and discovers the underground group of woman.

“This script is commercial and entertaining but it’s also really relevant to what is going on with the world today,” [producer Robbie] Brenner told The Hollywood Reporter. “Women’s rights are important and no one should have the right to control a woman’s body. And that such an idea can be challenged today and that we can go back in time on these issues is scary.”

Aside from the fact that there is no such thing as a “safe abortion,” how is this story “really relevant”? Is it relevant like “The Handmaid’s Tale” is relevant? Or is it relevant because Scientology devotee Moss is a proud, prominent face of a religion cult that uses abortion — not to mention physical and psychological abuse — to keep its members in line?

As if. Moss is so busy patting herself on the back for her feminism that she can’t recognize genuine oppression of women when it’s staring her right in the face. Guess signing on to a pro-abortion project is only natural.

You know, it really is.
