Joakim Noah hates war, so he’s stickin’ it to war … by snubbing West Point cadets:
Joakim Noah says he decided not to attend dinner with cadets last night and doesn't feel comfortable at military academy. Hates war.

Joakim Noah said he passed on dinner with cadets and speech from colonel due to anti war stance

More from the Chicago Tribune:
At its annual dinner with West Point cadets, every New York Knick was in attendance. Except for one.
“I wasn’t there to be honest with you,” former Bull Joakim Noah told the New York Daily News. “I have a lot of respect for the kids who are out here fighting. But it’s hard for me to understand why we have to go to war, why kids have to kill kids around the world.
“I have mixed feelings about being here. I’m very proud of this country. I love America but I just don’t understand kids killing kids around the world.”
OK, that’s his prerogative and all. But is skipping the dinner taking a stand against war, or against the people who choose to risk their lives in order to keep the rest of us from experiencing the horrors of war first-hand?
classless. @JoakimNoah https://t.co/8CnlfkFc2L

I respect Joakim Noah's stance on why he skipped the team dinner at West Point, but maybe talking to the cadets would broaden his worldview.

Joakim Noah is a fool for refusing to meet with cadets over anti-war stance. The cadets don't make the policy, his beef is with politicians.

Take that, everyone for war and gun violence. https://t.co/U6c4883lEe

Good to see @JoakimNoah is still a tool. This #YoungVeteran thinks your decision to skip dinner for #YoungTroops is disrespectful and sad.

I support the troops/ cadets, which is why I'm snubbing themhttps://t.co/AgDOWzTrM8

Nobody likes war, @JoakimNoah, you moron. But you should still respect the people who put their lives on the line to keep you safe.
— Scott Kirst (@scottkirst) September 30, 2016
Those cadets either prevent war through strength or ensure it's fought properly on freedom's behalf. Half-jerk, half-dumb, all Joakim. https://t.co/OfwTRzflQh
