As Twitchy reported, Kathleen Sebelius revealed during her testimony today that the Obama administration was aware of Healthcare.gov’s security risks back in August but went ahead with the site launch anyway. But before you get too bent out of shape, you should know that Sebelius doesn’t think we really have anything to worry about. Because Healthcare.gov is a government site!

Well, there you have it! What on earth were we ever concerned about?
Sebelius: "The site has met the highest standards of security for federal government sites." And that's supposed to make us feel better?

Of course it is — as long as we’re not actually expecting, you know, security:
@Sebelius the site has the highest standards for security…yeah right, that's why Navigators are NOT background checked!!! @SenateFinance

Pffft. Don’t worry. The government’s got this. Or maybe not:
Sebelius: the website is very safe and secure, but we won't do end-to-end testing "for a while," so until then, TRUST US.

Sebelius "it won't be for awhile" until we can do end to end security testing. Feel better?
