As Twitchy reported, Chechen Ibragim Todashev was killed overnight in Orlando by an FBI agent. Todashev, a friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, had reportedly been questioned in connection with last month’s deadly Boston Marathon bombing.
Now, NBC News and CBS News, citing unnamed sources, are reporting that Todashev and Tsarnaev were involved in a 2011 triple homicide in Waltham, Massachusetts murder:

The Tsarnaev brothers and Todashev apparently knew the three people killed in Waltham, the sources said, describing the 2011 killings as brutal and grisly, with all three bodies nearly decapitated. The bodies had marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash sprinkled on them.

According to WESH and CBS, Todashev was about to confess his involvement in the murder when he attacked the FBI agent with a knife, prompting the deadly shooting.
