'BEYOND disrespectful'! Rapper Blueface decided to give homeless people on LA's Skid Row an 'utterly dehumanizing' Christmas [video]

There’s nothing wrong with giving to those in need, especially on Christmas.

But there’s something very, very wrong with this gesture by rapper Blueface:

What the hell?

I’ve been homeless before.
This is BEYOND disrespectful.
There was ZERO good intent here. #blueface treat those people like they were animals, when he could’ve donated to the 3 shelters that are within 3 blocks of that location, helped more people, and let them keep their dignity

That’s not giving to those in need that’s humiliating those in need

— Zuki (@soukiel2) December 23, 2019

something's wrong with you if you think "making it rain" on the less fortunate is cool.

That had nothing to do with helping people at their lowest and everything to do with being egoistic and gaudy. If he truly cared he wouldn't have vulnerable people appear even more destitute.

It's a trash, pretentious and highly uncomfortable.

You can give homeless people money while letting them keep whatever dignity they have left. Dude turned their desperation into a spectacle so that he could get footage to make himself look good. I don't think he cared about helping anyone beyond himself…https://t.co/o5yj2PpXMa

#Blueface could've easily donated that to the shelters or HANDED them the money. Instead he thoughtlessly threw it up in the air as a complete spectacle and risked inciting violence among the homeless. This is extremely disrespectful and dehumanizing.

There’s a lot of desperate ppl on skid row all this did was make a spectacle of their desperation and possibly incite violence and fights over cash. Why do this when you can do something more effective?

Utterly dehumanizing. This isn’t the Middle Ages. You don’t need to act like royalty and you don’t need to treat homeless people like plebs. https://t.co/DeZJwjEZqb

I think there are better ways to help than making them run around scrounge for bills. It’s degrading. Good grief. https://t.co/cXlJPt8ruL

This is revolting.

Disgusting. This isn't doing "good."

— Patricia (@PattyPaugh) December 24, 2019

This is cruelty. https://t.co/8BhwD1UGoY

Pure and simple. Shame on him.
