As Twitchy told you, Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler got busted for his about-face when it came to Jeff Sessions’ resignation. Not to be outdone, Elizabeth Warren rode in with an impressive about-face of her own.
Here’s what she tweeted today after learning that Sessions had resigned at Trump’s “request”:
.@realDonaldTrump’s firing of Jeff Sessions brings us one step closer to a constitutional crisis. Congress must act to ensure that Special Counsel Mueller can do his job without interference.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) November 7, 2018
Oddly enough, it wasn’t a “constitutional crisis” last year when Warren was flipping out over Sessions’ confirmation and calling on him to resign:
I’m deeply disappointed that the Senate voted to confirm Jeff Sessions as Attorney General tonight.

Trump expects us to replace the AG w/ Jeff Sessions, whose career is defined by hostility to civil rights, immigrants & the rule of law.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) January 31, 2017
And you better believe every Senator who voted to put Jeff Sessions’s radical hatred into @TheJusticeDept will hear from all of us, too.

If Jeff Sessions turns a blind eye while @realDonaldTrump violates the Constitution or breaks the law, he'll hear from all of us.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) February 9, 2017
If Jeff Sessions makes even the tiniest attempt to bring his racism, sexism & bigotry into @TheJusticeDept, he'll hear from all of us.

As our top law enforcement officer, the AG must be truthful and uphold the law. Sessions cannot continue to serve. He should resign.

So, she was for his resignation before she was against it. Sounds about right.
