As Twitchy readers know, Trump skipped the veteran’s cemetery visit in Paris because of the weather. Forget that it sounds like it would have been dangerous to land his helicopter in the rain, Alisyn Camerota was far more concerned with playing the ‘gotcha Fox News’ card than on actually reporting about what happened.
CNN … need we say more?

From Mediaite:
On CNN Monday morning, New Day host Alisyn Camerota mused at what Fox News would have said if Obama had skipped out on the ceremony because of light rain. (Camerota was the long-time co-host for Fox News’ morning show Fox & Friends.)
“I shudder to think what would have happened if it had been President Obama, and the drum that Fox News would have beaten for weeks about a U.S. President being too soft to stand in the rain,” Camerota said. “Just the idea that we’re lowering a bar for a U.S. President that isn’t quite comfortable expressing any empathy.”
She shuddered.
K.
All this segment really did was prove how warped and biased these people are about Trump, which makes her dig at Fox News covering Obama even more ridiculous.
How did CNN cover veterans being left to die in the VA system that Obama promised to fix?
How did CNN cover Obama leaving veterans to die in Benghazi?
How did CNN cover candidate Obama’s refusal to meet with soldiers convalescing in Landstuhl, Germany? https://t.co/tktXBwnADA

We’re sure CNN found glowing ways to cover Obama in each of these instances.
It’s their strong point.

Hey, we get it, Trump probably should have had a plan for increment weather BUT the nerve of anyone on CNN complaining about how Fox News covered Obama? PUH-LEAZE.
CNN spends an inordinate amount of time fretting about what Fox News does, both real and imagined. Does anyone on Fox spend this much time opining on CNN? Sincere question, since I don't really watch much news on TV.

Brian Stelter is all but obsessed with Fox News, yup.
Alisyn seems to be very prone to "shuddering" at a lot of Life. … maybe she needs to "put some ice on that." #CNNFakeNews
