How is it a "cheap shot", when your position is that people's opinion of the job you're doing is their problem (they're "infected", after all), not yours?

If they really want us to trust them they need to admit they’ve been biased, make amends for it, and try reporting the news without pushing a narrative. But we know this isn’t the case and that many in the mainstream media don’t really care why people don’t trust them, they’re too busy being offended.
