As Twitchy reported earlier, Jussie Smollett had until the end of the day to cough up $130,000 to cover the overtime Chicago police put in investigating his alleged homophobic and racist attack by Trump supporters.
The deadline has come and gone, and now Smollett will face a civil suit against the city, where the standards for proving Smollett staged the attack will be lower than criminal court.
