Women's March's tweet demanding every vote be counted sends visitors to Japanese website

When they’re not defending anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, the gals over at the Women’s March often provide some first-rate entertainment. This Tuesday, the Women’s March assembled its troops at the Capitol to demand that every vote be counted before “business as usual.”

We’re not sure where they thought counteveryvote.org went, but it looks like it points to a Japanese provider of medical billing software:

How about checking every URL before worrying about counting every vote. And speaking of counting votes, has anyone mentioned that there are rules that must be followed? As Twitchy reported this morning, Broward County, Fla., hadn’t even begun the recount of more than 700,000 ballots that must be tallied by Thursday’s deadline.

This “count every vote” campaign isn’t really resonating with people who expected their votes to be tallied, you know, on election night and not more than a week afterward.

Great point … now, why exactly hasn’t every legal vote been counted by now? Are they still finding mystery boxes of provisional ballots left behind in school cafeterias? Count every vote sounds great, but you do know there’s a cutoff, right? You don’t get to count “new” votes after the fact.

Don’t give Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes any ideas about destroying ballots — there’s a history there.

But voter ID is racist!

Count those votes!
