J. R. Salzman has the last laugh after catching some deer eating his sweet corn

Two deer that had been sneaking into Twitchy favorite J.R. Salzman’s garden and eating his sweet corn found out the hard way that this wasn’t the best long-term plan. Check it out:

While I can butcher my own, there’s a country butcher right down the road who also makes my summer sausage so I just have him do it. I’ve tried pork fat before, I didn’t like it as much.

I’m continually amazed at the number people who are so insulated from the basic principles of human survival that they criticize someone for hunting for food. Only someone who thinks food comes from the grocery store would think hunting is immoral and makes someone less human.
