'How's Alfie doing?' J.K. Rowling outrage at the state of the UK is SHAMEFULLY misdirected

Earlier today, the UK Daily Telegraph’s chief political correspondent Christopher Hope wondered aloud what makes owls more deserving of a Royal Mail stamp than Brexit:

J.K. Rowling was only too happy to answer his question:

That’s cute, J.K. But if anything will divide the UK and has longterm consequences for your society, it’s the government-sanctioned murder of innocents whose lives the state has deemed unworthy.

Rowling has plenty to say about Brexit, which has already happened … but nothing about Alfie, whose life still hangs in the balance.

Huh.

Or maybe we should put this in terms Rowling can more easily understand:

Whatever it takes. Alfie Evans doesn’t have a voice, and the state is taking his parents’ voices away. But Rowling can still speak out.
