Minnesota county prosecutor: Prince 'likely' took counterfeit Vicodin laced with fentanyl

Carver County (MN) prosecutor Mark Metz just gave a new conference where he updated the public on the death of singer/songwriter Prince, who died in 2016 from a fentanyl overdose.

According to Metz, investigators can find no evidence that Prince had a prescription for either Vicodin or fentanyl and no criminal charges will be filed against any doctor. He went on to say it’s likely Prince tooked a counterfeit Vicodin prescription that was laced with fentanyl and that’s what caused his death:
