As Twitchy told you, Ann Coulter’s planned speech at Berkeley is off. There’s still some disagreement as to who exactly pulled the plug on the event — Coulter or the university — but yesterday, the American Civil Liberties Union voiced their disgust with the cancellation:

It’s worth pointing out that since Coulter never delivered her speech, it’s maybe a bit premature to suggest it might be “hateful.”

But aside from that, the ACLU’s pro-First Amendment stance is still rubbing a lot of supposed defenders of civil liberties the wrong way.
