Last week, “Gasland” and “How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change” director Josh Fox argued — valiantly but unconvincingly — that the key to stopping ISIS isn’t bombs, but love. He didn’t get much love for that hot take, but he does seem to have carved out a soft spot in the hearts of some unlikely allies.
