Just 'a mistake'? NYT's Jacob Bernstein confesses to calling Melania Trump a 'hooker'

Remember that New York Times reporter who allegedly told model Emily Ratajkowski that “Melania is a hooker” over the weekend? You wouldn’t remember his name, of course, seeing as the New York Times was oddly silent about that. All we knew is that they had supposedly reprimanded the guilty party.

Well, this afternoon, the guilty party finally came forward:

“Unfounded rumors”? Come on, man.

Needless to say, Bernstein’s apology rings hollow for a lot of people.
