How they learned to stop worrying and love the snow: Weather forces NPR to find a sub for Lena Dunham

National Public Radio found itself with a problem Saturday that turned out to be anything but. Due to a snowstorm, “Girls” creator and star and Hillary Clinton campaign surrogate Lena Dunham was unable to appear as scheduled on “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!”

Fortunately, NPR was able to find another white liberal on short notice, and it turned out the listening audience was quick to accept Stephen Colbert in Dunham’s place. Rest assured, though — every missed Lena very much.
