You get NOTHING: Ben Shapiro entitled to reimbursement from family of Ahmed 'Clock Kid' Mohamed

As Twitchy reported, the family of Ahmed Mohamed, the teen who dazzled Barack Obama with his “cool clock,” last fall filed a lawsuit demanding apologies and on-air retractions from a list of pundits and politicians including Fox News, Glenn Beck and The Blaze, Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro, and Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne.

Things did not go well for the plaintiffs at a hearing in January, and Shapiro lowered the boom Thursday by posting a court order dismissing the suit against him.

The Texas Citizens Participation Act is an anti-SLAPP statute meant to discourage frivolous lawsuits intended only to silence the defendant. Therefore, Shapiro is entitled to be reimbursed for attorneys fees, court costs, and other expenses.
