An awful lot of celebrities vowed to leave America for greener pastures if Trump was elected president. Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta is not only fine with that, but he’s even offering to help them pack:
Time for Hollywood to pony up and head for the border #illhelpyoupack #beatit
— Jake Arrieta (@JArrieta34) November 9, 2016
Daaaaaang.
Needless to say, not everyone’s a fan of Arrieta’s sentiment:
I'm disappointed in you.
— Erika S. (@rinkrebel) November 9, 2016
disappointed and disgusted by this…@Cubs you guys support this??
— meg delisle (@megdelisle) November 9, 2016
wow. way to ruin the @Cubs feel-good win and new-found fans.

Go ask your teammates of color how they feel today. Esp the ones not born in the US. Go ahead, I'll wait.

The complete idiocy and ignorance behind this tweet. Why am I not remotely shocked? Pure garbage.

But something tells us they won’t change Arrieta’s mind. And for what it’s worth, Arrieta’s still got plenty of people in his corner:
@BobertRooden let's not blow this shit out of proportion. Jake just made a passing comment and didn't mean anything by it
— Circus Wheel (@CircusWheel) November 9, 2016
this tweet made my day
