But it’s getting ugly.

Rebel attack helicopters have reportedly opened fire on pro-government police in Istanbul:

According to reports, 17 officers were killed:

And there’s an unconfirmed report that a pro-government F-16 shot down one of the rebel attack copters:

Tanks have also been filmed running over cars as pro-government supporters attempt to halt their progress:
