Gender-inclusive classroom guide is free, but requires you to identify as male, female, or other

Good news, everyone. The government continues to demonstrate there’s no problem it can’t invent. Educators striving to create gender-inclusive classrooms now can benefit from a new guide, “Creating Supportive Learning Environments for Girls and Boys: A Guide for Educators.”

Gender and education specialists reportedly spent two years compiling the guide, which is a shame, because it’s already woefully outdated and littered with meaningless and offensive labels like “girls” and “boys.”

Compounding matters, the guide is a free download, but not only is gender a required field — it’s a drop-down menu with only three choices. Other? What year is this, 2014?
