'Whitesplaining cognitive dissonance': Should networks pull 'A Christmas Story' after Tamir Rice shooting?

Christmas 2015 is history, and so are the 24-hour marathons of “A Christmas Story” on TV. While that might come as a great relief to many, at least one author thinks that the 1940s-era story of young Ralphie and his quest to own a Red Ryder B.B. gun needs to be pulled from broadcast in the wake of the 2014 Tamir Rice shooting.
