Washington Post: Hillary Clinton's original server not wiped, emails might be easily restored

Here’s some big news we weren’t expecting to hear. Reporters for the Washington Post report today that Hillary Clinton’s private email server does not appear to have been wiped, which should make it relatively easy to restore any erased emails.

The Washington Post reports that Platte River Networks took over the private server in June 2013 and migrated all of Clinton’s emails to a new server. While Clinton’s emails were erased from that new server, they remained on the original, which Platte River Networks had kept in storage in New Jersey and handed over to the FBI last month, making no suggestion that it had been wiped in the interim.
