Luckily the officer in this story escaped without any major injuries. From the Boston Globe:

Bethany Dunne, 31, from Sagamore Beach, was sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle at a Gulf Gas Station on the Bourne South Rotary just before 6 p.m. when Officer Krystal Harrington recognized her for outstanding larceny and assault and battery warrants, Bourne police said.

When Harrington approached the vehicle to arrest her, Dunne ignored the Harrington’s commands and accelerated backward in an attempt to flee the scene. Harrington was struck by the vehicle, which pinned her between Dunne’s vehicle and her own police cruiser, police said.

Harrington was able to reach into the window while pinned, hold onto Dunne, and phone for backup before freeing herself. Harrington did not appear to be seriously injured, police said.
