Man charged in murder of US Border Patrol agent Brian Terry given plea deal

KVOA in Tucson, Ariz., reports that one of the men charged in the murder of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry pleaded guilty after accepting a plea deal that he not be executed. All other charges, including interfering with federal officers and killing Terry with “malice aforethought” will be dropped.

Rosario Rafael Burboa Alvarez, indicted by the Justice Department last summer, was found at the crime scene with two AK-47 variants identified as part of Operation Fast and Furious.
