This tweet from #BlackLivesMatter protester DeRay Mckesson caught our eye. Could it be true?

The link he posted is for nytimes.com.co — a fake New York Times account that reposts articles from the satirical National Report.

Here’s the exact same article as posted on National Report.

Some of Mckesson’s followers picked up that it was a fake link … but not all of them:
