Why is 'professional protester' Deray in Charleston? This 'shot & chaser' proves he's not sure

MSNBC’s Alex Wagner interviewed Deray McKesson, who’s been referred to as a “professional protester” for his ability to appear in Ferguson, Baltimore, McKinney, Texas or wherever there’s racial unrest that needs fomenting. Part of Wagner’s interview focused on the #GoHomeDeray hashtag that sprang up from people who wish the person who has made himself a central figure in so many protests would take some time off (or as MSNBC put it, “Civil rights activist attacked on Twitter”).
