Cher loses her cool in a big way with critics of Rachel Dolezal: 'Who doesn't want to have black cool?'

There wouldn’t seem to be that much more to say about Rachel Dolezal, the “trans-racial” head of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP who claimed for years to be black, despite having two white parents. The NAACP itself issued a brief statement today saying that it stands behind Dolezal, but the idea of a woman pretending to be black didn’t sit well with many who just consider it another benefit of white privilege.

Singer and actress Cher is one of the very few we’ve seen characterize Dolezal’s “outing” as a white woman by her family as “cruel.”

Seriously, who doesn’t want to have black cool? How dope would it be to spend your Saturday golfing like President Obama, undisputedly the coolest president ever.

The only problem we foresee with Dolezal’s outing is the inevitable rush of white people to claim they’re black too.
