Hillary Clinton has yet to take a single question on the use of a private email account for official State Department business, yet Dems and the lapdog media (concentric circles on a Venn diagram) are already screeching, “nothing to see here, move along!” First was a usual suspect: The always absurd Chris Hayes of MSNBC. Now up? Guardian political reporter Ben Jacobs, who doesn’t “want to spend more time on” Hillary’s email scandal. No, for serious:
Don't want to spend more time on HRC emails but still believe a mix of incompetence and laziness is more likely than intentional criminality
— Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) March 5, 2015
Why? Did the scandal somehow resolve itself?
@Bencjacobs If there were only some profession that was focused on investigating such things and finding out the truth. Oh well ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@Bencjacobs Good job journalist. Definitely assume that people in power have nothing to hide and accidentally thwart accountability.
— Small Gov Lizard (@smallgovlizard) March 5, 2015
But, guys, he’s totally a “real journalist” and stuff:
@chrisrlloyd I don't assume anything. That's why I spend a lot of time doing the reporting thing.
— Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) March 5, 2015
Oh, really? Then answer this, please:
@Bencjacobs So what has your reporting turned up that shows this is all a big mix-up vs a concerted effort to avoid accountability?
— Small Gov Lizard (@smallgovlizard) March 5, 2015
Boom.
@chrisrlloyd I wouldn't go that far but certainly a mix of both.
— Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) March 5, 2015
Again, really? You are certain?
@Bencjacobs You say certainly. What is your evidence for that? From all your reporting?
— Small Gov Lizard (@smallgovlizard) March 5, 2015
No answer, natch. We won’t hold our breath for one either.

"Laziness" would be [email protected]. Not-laziness is your own email server. @NoahWehrman @Bencjacobs @AceofSpadesHQ @RBPundit
— AgainstTrumpDude (@TheAmishDude) March 5, 2015
Whatever, guys. No more time needed spent on this. Lazy? Look in the mirror, buddy.
And in an exit nutshell:
@Bencjacobs Glad to see that old-fashioned, honest, investigative journalism has not disappeared. Well done, Ben.

Kudos! You’ve proved that journalism is dead. Part 783.
