'Lunatic,' 'Repugnant' Rudy Giuliani says Obama doesn't 'love America'; Media hits the 'fainting couches'

Politico is reporting that at an “off-the-record” dinner for Scott Walker at the 21 Club in New York City on Wednesday night, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani had a few choice things to say about President Obama, mainly that he doesn’t “love America.”

From Politico:

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

And media folks are pretty riled up about it:

Except, of course, this type of rhetoric really isn’t anything new to politics. For example, here is candidate Obama calling Pres. Bush “unpatriotic” for increasing the national debt:

Unpatriotic is defined as someone who doesn’t love, support or defend’s one’s country. What’s the difference?
