Twitter pokes fun at Campus Progress' definition of 'basic human right'

A transgender student at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, is anatomically male (for the time being) but dresses and lives as a female. The student, Jennifer Braly, was told to use gender-neutral restrooms on campus. Braly wanted to use women’s bathrooms and filed a complaint with the Department of Justice. In response to the complaint, the university changed its policy. Now Braly is allowed to use both women’s and gender-neutral restrooms.

The left-wing advocacy group Campus Progress, which is a unit of the George-Soros funded Center for American Progress, covered the story with this headline: “Transgender Woman Denied Basic Human Rights.”

Some Twitter users felt the headline was a bit over the top.
