'Small number' vs. 'end of world': Ways and Means Committee Dems called out for selective view of 'compassion'

Think more about policies that create jobs? According to President Obama and other Democrats, extending unemployment insurance does create jobs, and is therefore a job-creating economic policy. Any argument to the contrary lacks compassion, according to the House Ways and Means Committee Democrats:

The Dems’ view of “compassion” seems to be highly selective, as this tweeter excellently pointed out:
