Donald Trump doubles down on birther conspiracy

Yes, it’s true that Hawaii health director Loretta Fuddy, 65,  was killed in a single-engine plane crash off the island of Molokai. It’s also true that all eight other people on the plane, including deputy director Keith Yamamoto, lived, which would suggest that someone would have had to put in a whole lot of effort to make sure that only Fuddy was killed. Donald Trump’s tweet was certainly as ghoulish as it was foolish, but he seems to be standing by it.

Well, they do call him “The One.”
