Freedom from Religion Foundation ramps up Hobby Lobby boycott

As Twitchy reported, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear craft retailer Hobby Lobby’s case against Kathleen Sebelius and the Department of Health and Human Services. Hobby Lobby has argued that, for religious reasons, it should not have to pay for abortifacients for its employees as mandated by Obamacare.

Never mind that Hobby Lobby has no objection to providing 16 of the 20 FDA-approved contraceptives required under the HHS mandate; abortion rights activists are threatening a boycott in the name of the craft store chain’s “war on women.” The Freedom From Religion Foundation is also working to coordinate a boycott.

A boycott could, of course, backfire. In January, supporters of Hobby Lobby and religious freedom packed stores during a “Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day.”
