Spurs' Popovich named NBA Coach of the Year

The NBA announced that the Spurs’ Gregg Popovich has been named the league’s “Coach of the Year” on Tuesday.

Popovich led San Antonio to an NBA-best 50-16 record, in a season that most deemed would be a down year because of the compressed schedule and Tim Duncan’s compressed knees.
