It’s amazing how impossible it is to distinguish between the ramblings of a New York Times ‘journalist’ and the rabid rantings of a Democrat politician. With the media enthralled by the recent Cornell University rape allegations, you just knew a ‘journalist’/Democrat would eventually falsely link the incident to President Donald Trump. Michelle Cottle of the New York Times isn’t the only one making that fake connection. More on that in a bit.
Here’s more. (READ)
“We can go to the President for this one.” On @ThisWeekABC, @mcottle of NY Times blames Trump for Cornell incident:
“You can’t send those messages, no matter how drunk you are as a frat boy, without having some kind of misunderstanding about what women are there for and whether this is a real person you’re dealing with. And that, I think starts, you know, we can go to the President for this one. I mean, we are in a moment in this culture where the glorification of being thuggish and swaggering and mistreating women is kind of making you a cool kid.”
The New York Times’ Michelle Cottle and other hack ‘journalists’ should realize by now how ridiculous they look trying to blame Trump for everything. (WATCH)

Trump may be the most powerful man in the world, but he’s not omnipresent. Things happen every day that have nothing to do with him. Crazy, right?
Posters are holding up Cottle as a prime example of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The stupidity of this statement by a NTY employee is what you can expect from this far-left newspaper and it staff.

Oh, BS. Trying to link this to Trump is peak Democrat lunacy. What a bunch of crazies who can’t think straight. pic.twitter.com/xr9XWCIX0y

Oh Michelle. Your TDS is another primary reason to completely ignore the opinions of the NY Slimes.

Trump has broken these people.
Commenters say it doesn’t make sense to blame Trump since the incident happened during former President Joe Biden’s term.
It happened in 2024--the Biden years. But you're right, Hunter Biden set a horrible example for young men.

The night of October 19-20th, 2024 to be exact. What the heck, lady?

Trump wasn’t even president-elect at that moment. He won the election in November and then took office in late January 2025.
Surely, a Republican will stand up to Cottle and call her biased blame game exactly what it is — pure nonsense. Never mind, ‘Republican’ Chris Christie was on the same Sunday show. (WATCH)
If you were wondering if anyone pushed back on NYT's Michelle Cottle blaming Trump for the Cornell incident that occurred when Biden was president... The answer is no. Chris Christie was next up and thought Cottle had a point about "something deeper and more fundamental that goes back." Of course he was fine with it. Stephanopoulos then went to commercial. NYT and ABC News doing what they do.

What a pathetic hack loser Christie turned into. I realize he’s getting paid by Dem networks, but geez, have some self respect. Gross.

Why is Fat Man even there? He has a constituency of no one. Republicans hate him more than Democrats do. ABC must view him as the ultimate sap, desperate to be relevant, but guaranteed to trash Trump.

Networks roll him in whenever they need a ‘Republican’ to agree with Democrats. It’s been this way for years. He checks a box, so they can claim they are presenting ‘both sides’ by citing Christie’s frequent appearances. He recently hinted that he may run for president in 2028. So he’s putting himself out there on any channel that will have him. He'll say whatever the legacy media wants him to say.
